Privacy Policy

The short version

SuperSnap is a fully local macOS app. Everything happens on your Mac. No screenshots, images, or personal data are ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone, including us.

What data we collect

We collect no personal data through the app itself. SuperSnap processes everything on-device and does not connect to any server to do its job.

The only data we receive is what you voluntarily provide when purchasing a license through Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). That data, your name and email address, is handled by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy and is used solely to deliver your license key.

Screenshots and images

Screenshots you take and edit in SuperSnap never leave your device. All processing, including background removal, padding, framing, gradient application, and Restricted mode redaction, runs entirely on your Mac. Nothing is sent to any server.

Restricted mode

Restricted mode automatically detects and hides sensitive information such as emails, phone numbers, and financial data, directly on your device using on-device processing. This data is never read, stored, or transmitted by SuperSnap or any third party.

Analytics

This website (supersnap.net) uses Vercel Analytics to collect basic, anonymous page-view data such as pages visited, referrer, and country. No personally identifiable information is collected. The app itself contains no analytics.

The following third parties are involved only in the purchase flow, not in the app:

Data retention

Since we collect no personal data through the app, there is nothing to retain or delete. If you wish to have your purchase-related data removed from Lemon Squeezy, please contact their support directly.
